Love all the Mom Flow newsletters - this one especially resonated with me. 'I love that for you, not for me' is a great response! We make a conscious effort to step back and evaluate every season to see what worked and what didn't and adjust accordingly. We need to build margin into our lives with intentionality. Overscheduled kids and rundown parents are not it. Rest is what we all need.
I’m like you in that I was never into really tight schedules, or letting my kids eat some junk food once in a while! I was more concerned about displays of behaviour, like honesty, kindness, responsibility, or politeness.
I definitely feel the same about YouTube. It’s crazy what some of the content is there. You’ve also given me the good suggestion to unfollow some of those parenting accounts.
I would love to see what sad beige clothing you purchased for Lola as I want to follow suit!
