Hard no on the scrolling when a friend is talking to you!!! That is so rude. If you have to do something urgent, say “I’m so sorry I just need to quickly respond to this text” or whatever, and then put your phone down. As adults we have to model this for our kids too…eye contact when someone is speaking to you 👍
I’ve caught myself doing this too and trying to be more mindful of this! I hate when people do it to me so I need to hold myself to the same standard. lol
Ooh I feel like the low iron journey is tough! I recently had an iron infusion through my naturopath and what took me two years on iron pills I managed to do in one IV session. Highly recommend!
As always, an interesting read! Totally agree about the use of a phone - to scroll while a friend is talking to you is very rude and it’s a shame we seem to have lost this awareness.
Lola definitely isn’t a toddler and hasn’t been since she turned 3 😀 I totally understand that emotional attachment to infantilizing her, we all do it in some way. Our time with them when they still need and want us to do everything for them goes by in a blink.

Your families are so awesome.
It's great to have them as a support system

Thank you for the tv recco’s! Always looking for a GOOD new show and you have never lead me astray.
Also love the recipe, will have to try. I did try out the Italian bean and kale dish you shared a few weeks ago and it was *chefs kiss*
